Kutaj (Holarrhena antidysenterica)
Bel (Aegle marmelos)
It protects the digestive system from ulceration and reduces the frequency of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and intestinal spasms thus beneficial in treating diarrhea, dysentery, and other infections of the Elementary canal.
Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra )
It soothes gastrointestinal problems. In cases of food poisoning, stomach ulcers, and heartburn, licorice root extract can speed the repair of the stomach lining and restore balance. This is due to the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of glycyrrhizic acid and it suppresses the toxic bacteria H. pylori and prevents it from growing in the gut.
Harad (Terminalia Chebula)
Benefits the whole digestive tract and has antispasmodic activity also beneficial in intestinal disorders and spastic colon. It increases appetite and improves digestion and absorption. It provides an effective cure for gastrointestinal infections, diarrhea, and colic.
Daruhaldi ( Berberis aristata)
It is anti-pyretic, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-hepatotoxic, anti-hyperglycaemic, an anti-oxidant and it is also useful in the treatment of diarrhea, hemorrhoids, wound healing, jaundice, and malarial fever.
Doses: Adults 1-3 tsp, Children 1 to 2-3 times a day or as directed by the physician.
